Here at iO-WE we focus on the Kasa and Tapo ranges of products. This is because they are currently being extended and more products added.  TP-LINK's Roadmap and investment are in these two ranges so user experience and support will be high.

Each product line is controlled by either the Kasa app or the Tapo app.  They are currently not cross compatible so choose products from the same range to avoid needing to use two separate apps.  TP-Link might look to bring these two together in the future.  Keep an eye on iO-WE news as we will let you know as soon as we hear.

TP-LINK can be controlled using voice control via Amazon echo or Google Home and can be controlled using SmartThings Hub/App amongst many other brands.
